If you’ve visited Niagara Falls, Ontario in January before, you’ll know that the city looks like a scene from Disney’s Frozen this time of year, simply beautiful and magical! As the city quiets down from the bustling summer months, January is a great time to explore Niagara Falls at your own pace (meaning no crowds or long lines.) This year, if you are a local and visit on Sunday, January 12th you will have the opportunity to experience 13 Niagara Falls attractions for under $20.
Dollar Day On Clifton Hill Returns This January
Dollar Day is back for one day only! The day-long event began over 30 years ago when Nancy Clayton, Vice President of Cystic Fibrosis Canada – Niagara Chapter, organized $1 Museum Days to help build awareness and raise funds for the cause. This idea took off with local businesses participating in many of the well-known family attractions along the famous hill. Today, the event continues with a $1 admission with 100% of the donations going to Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Below are the attractions participating.

Cystic Fibrosis is a common and fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. Unfortunately, there is no known cure for the disease that affects the lungs and digestive system. Cystic Fibrosis Canada is advocating its message through its volunteers and community involvement. When visiting Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill, be sure to check out the famous Skywheel that offers incredible views of the waterfalls and the illuminated Niagara Parkway. Dollar Day will begin January 12th, 2020 at 10:00 am and run until 5:00 pm. Niagara residents are required to show I.D. in order to participate in the event. Drivers license, passport, and student I.D. are valid. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
