During your leisurely cruise up the River Ouse, you'll spot Bishopthorpe Palace, the stunning 13th Century riverside residence of his Grace the Archbishop of York, some of the beautiful countryside that surrounds the city as well as a couple of landmarks in the city itself. The Riverbus Service is a form of transportation, not a full sightseeing tour, but you will have all the facilities of those boats that operate our sightseeing cruises, including an open-topped sun deck, a heated saloon, toilet facilities, and all-importantly a selection of beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks, and snacks available from our on-board bar!Pre-Booking Advised! - We strongly advise pre-booking, the only way to guarantee you'll get on-board. There is a cut-off for pre-bookings the morning of the cruise. Subject to availability, tickets will be available for walk-ups - we accept both cash and card.
