The York Dungeon tour lasts for 75-minutes, taking you through more than 2000 years of York’s grizzly past. 

The Dungeon features an incredible cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages and scenes in a unique and immersive experience that you see, hear, feel and smell. It’s hilarious fun and might even be a little bit scary! 
 

The York Dungeon features 10 live, interactive shows and they really are the black comedy of attractions; dark, atmospheric and very funny. You and your companions will trace York’s murky history through all 10 live shows and 9 live actors. 

It is based on the City’s actual history (minus the boring bits they tell us) where you come face-to-face with sinister characters from York’s gruesome past, including traitorous plotter Guy Fawkes and the infamous highwayman Dick Turpin, recently returned in 2017.
 

Our York City Cruise is an entertaining and informative tour of the River Ouse. Escape the city rush and enjoy York from a different perspective whilst our friendly and knowledgeable team guide you leisurely up and downstream. 
 


These cruises depart from both of our landing stages; the King’s Staith Landing and the Lendal Bridge Landing. If combining with York Dungeon then we recommend sailing from King’s Staith; just a stone’s throw away.

Open Daily 10am to 4pm (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day)

Daily departures from 10:30 until 15:00 (King’s Staith Landing) 

Daily departures from 10:40  until 15.10 (Lendal Bridge Landing)

Your Dungeon ticket is not pre-booked for a specific time. You can either join the walk up queue upon arrival at the Dungeon and wait for the next available tour. Or alternatively, you may book a specific date and time at the York Dungeon box office should you wish to attend at a later time or date within the validity period.
