Overview
Spend your day exploring the San Diego Zoo, located in the famous Balboa Park and home to more than 4,000 rare and endangered animals from around the world. Learn about the zoo’s wildlife conservation efforts while visiting its animals in exhibits designed to mimic their indigenous habitats. See the largest collection of koala bears outside of Australia as well as gorillas, elephants, big cats, and smaller animals including some beautiful birds and reptiles. Travel around easily between exhibits with unlimited use of the Zoo’s Express Bus, Aerial Tram Ride, and a fully narrated bus tour where you can learn even more. With thousands of fascinating creatures to learn about throughout this 100-acre zoo, it will be easy to find something that every member of the family will enjoy.

- Facial coverings required for guests ages three and older.
- Free parking is available on the zoo grounds.
- The zoo entrance is located off Park Blvd. at Zoo Place.
- Some rides, exhibits, and tours may be unavailable due to health concerns including the Zoo's Aerial Tram Ride and Bus Tour which may have suspended service.
- A direct to turn cycle ticket allows for immediate entry.
- Please bring a photo ID, it will be required at the gate.
