This time of year always brings certain things front of mind. Turkey for one. Pumpkin is another. And definitely gratitude!
The official declaration when Thanksgiving became a holiday was for Canadians to give thanks “for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed”. We couldn’t agree more!
Canadian Thanksgiving is coming
On Monday, October 10th 2016 Canadians around the country will be gathering together with friends and family to pause and give thanks for our many blessings.
We here at Hornblower Niagara Cruises have so many things we are grateful for and wanted to share some of those with you.
What We Are Thankful For
So without further ado, let’s get onto our list of things we are most thankful for!
The Weather
The fresh crisp days, the cool fall evenings, it’s all a part of the new season. And with the autumn sun still shining brightly it’s a perfect time to visit Niagara Falls. And if you do get caught in a little fall rain, our poncho is both practical and fashionable!
Fall Colours
The foliage in Niagara is like nowhere else at this time of year. We are thankful that our attraction lives in such a beautiful area and we get to enjoy it daily. The burnt reds and oranges on the trees showcase the green, blue waters of Niagara in a whole new light.
Clean Power
Our Heshimu sayari yetu initiative was developed to protect and conserve the natural resources and ecosystems in which we operate. We are committed to preventing pollution, reducing waste, conserving water and energy, and educating our guests and employees on environmental stewardship. The clean power produced by Niagara Falls makes us proud to operate in this region.
Our Partners
Being in Niagara Falls we are surrounded by so many incredible partners. The Falls will always be the star of the show in Niagara. But without the surrounding attractions and hotels, the area wouldn’t be as great as it is! Some of our local partners include Niagara Parks, Clifton Hill, Hilton Niagara Falls, Sheraton on the Falls, Fallsview Casino, Marriott Fallsview.
Our Crew
We wouldn’t be able to give our guests the amazing experience we do without our great crew members. Be it the deck hands on our boats or the customer service team handing out ponchos every member goes into creating great guest experiences. We are so thankful for each and every member of our team.
Our Guests
And most importantly we are thankful for YOU! Our incredible guests! At the end of the day, we wouldn’t be who we are without the visitors that trust us each day to give them an up close and personal view of Niagara Falls. We love hearing your stories and seeing you experience the Falls for the first time or the hundredth. Make sure to share your visit with us using #InTheMist Na #NiagaraCruises.
