Senior Groups are defined as groups whose members are age 62 or older. If you would like to bring a senior group of 20 people or more to Alcatraz Island, you must request permission in advance.

Please note: Seating on Island’s accessible S.E.A.T. Tram is limited to individuals with physical need only and those seats are fille on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information on accessibility on Alcatraz Island, visit the Accessibility page.

As dates fill up in advance, please allow as much time as possible for processing your request.

To request permission for your Senior Group, please complete the application request form and allow 30 days for review. Once we have received this request, an application form will be sent to you for completion.

Payment is due 30 days prior to departure date or reservations will be cancelled.
