What types of tours & cruises are offered?
Niagara City Cruises offers two unique experiences:
Voyage To The Falls Boat Tour
Hop aboard to make your way to an experience no one ever forgets. Get up close and personal with the American Falls, Canadian Horseshoe Falls, and breathtaking Great Gorge – and the thundering roar, awesome power, and amazing mist that come along with these natural wonders.
Or ride after sunset for a light-mist experience (that’s still heavy on the magic) with the illumination of the Falls.

Falls Fireworks Cruise
There is nothing quite like the sight of exploding fireworks over the brink of Niagara Falls to make your trip a memorable one. Admire Niagara Falls at night aboard a 40-minute Falls Fireworks Cruise. Can I reserve a specific time for a Voyage to the Falls boat tour?
Yes. Voyage to the Falls boat tour tickets is Timed Entry Ticketing. Simply select a time slot that best suits your plans. Plan to arrive at or within your selected time slot.
- Note – during the peak season (June – Labour Day) please expect line-ups to access the Lower Landing and to board the boat. As a result, we cannot guarantee that your departure time will take place within the booked time slot.

What is the difference between the Full Mist and Light Mist experience?
Before sunset, our Full Mist boat tour experience sails into the heart of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls. Our Light Mist experiences sail after sunset, and for safety reasons, the boat tour cruises to the outer edge of the Falls.
What if there is bad weather?
We sail rain or shine! Guests will be provided with a recyclable poncho. Our vessels also have an enclosed viewing area.
If severe weather persists, tours may be cancelled or postponed until the weather clears.
Do I have to pay for a poncho?
Our recyclable ponchos are complimentary and handed out to our guests just before boarding.
Are your ponchos recyclable?
Yes, our complimentary ponchos are 100% recyclable.
How long should I expect to be onsite?
We recommend budgeting an hour for your entire visit. This is fully dependent on guest traffic volumes and varies from person to person. Actual time may vary depending on business volumes, peak hours, etc.
Are your vessels Transport Canada certified?
Yes. All Niagara City Cruises vessels are Transport Canada certified and inspected annually to adhere to strict safety regulations. All our Marine crew participate in regularly scheduled safety drills on each vessel.

Where can I purchase tickets?
All Niagara City Cruises tickets can be purchased online by selecting Book Now.
BOOK NOW – VOYAGE TO THE FALLS
Tickets can also be purchased at our Ticket Plaza located at 5920 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ontario, L2E 6X8 (look for the large white sails next to the Zipline to the Falls Tower).
What is your refund policy?
Once payment is received, cruises are non-refundable unless Ticket Assurance is purchased at the time of booking. We are happy to reschedule your cruise date for the amount paid with 48-hour notice before your scheduled cruise. Cruises are non-refundable and non-transferable within 48 hours of your cruise. We do not compensate for no-shows or late arrivals.
Purchases made with Ticket Assurance may be rescheduled or canceled up to 2 hours prior to the original departure time with a full refund, minus the cost of non-refundable Ticket Assurance. Ticket Assurance is not available on select cruises such as holiday, specialty, or partnership cruises, or other experiences as indicated.
How does Timed Ticketing work?
When booking tickets, guests will select the date and time slot that best suits their needs.
Guests are encouraged to arrive on time, just prior to or within their selected time slot.

Can I pay in US currency?
Yes! We accept US Visa, and MasterCard cards online and in person. US cash is also accepted at our Ticket Plaza.
Do I have to print out my tickets?
We encourage all guests to skip the printer and use our Mobile Ticketing which can be scanned directly from a smartphone.
What methods of payment do you accept?
At our Ticket Plaza, we accept the following methods of payment:

- Canadian and US currency
If purchasing tickets online, the following methods of payment can be used:

Do you offer any discounts for students, or seniors?
We do not offer discounts for students and seniors.

Do you sell gift cards?
No. We do not sell or accept gift cards of any kind.
I’ve purchased a ticket online but did not receive my e-Ticket, what now?
Please bring your booking confirmation number to the Ticket Plaza and one of our crew members will bring up your reservation.
I have lost my ticket. Can it be replaced?
Yes. An e-Ticket can be replaced with the original booking confirmation number. Please visit our Ticket Plaza when you arrive.
Attraction Grounds
What health and safety measures do you have in place?
The health and well-being of our guests and crew members is our number one priority. We have entry and boarding requirements which include:
- Timed Ticketing Entry: To control passenger flow and manage guest capacity, timed ticketing entry is utilized. Note – during the peak season (June – Labour Day) please expect line-ups to access the Lower Landing and to board the boat. As a result, we cannot guarantee that your departure time will take place within the booked time slot.

Safety Screening: All guests and personal items may be subject to screening.
- Guests are permitted to bring a personal item. Personal items include a small purse or handbag, a small backpack, an infant diaper bag, or a camera bag. Maximum dimensions are 17.8 x 38.1 x 40.6 centimetres (7x15x16 inches).
- Restricted and dangerous articles are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to; suitcases of any size, carry-on luggage, overnight bags, roller bags, briefcases, coolers, trunks, dangerous articles, and all other items that exceed the maximum dimensions for personal allowances.
- Note that additional personal item allowance and entry restrictions may be imposed at entry without prior notice.
- Outside food and beverage is not permitted.
- All guests riding the boat require a ticket to board.
- Our attraction is a smoke and vape-free environment. This includes tobacco, e-juice, and cannabis.
Niagara City Cruises reserves the right to modify its safety measures at any point without prior notice.
What are Niagara City Cruises hours of operation?

Are your boats wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our attraction and boats are wheelchair accessible.
Do you have washrooms onsite?
Yes. There are two (2) wheelchair-accessible washrooms aboard our two (2) catamaran boats.
There are additional wheelchair-accessible washrooms on land in our Lower Landing area.
Is smoking or vaping allowed on your property?
No. Smoking or vaping of any kind (tobacco, cannabis, or e-juice) is not permitted on our boats or anywhere on our property.
Are Infant Strollers permitted on the attraction grounds and the boats?
Yes. Small to mid-size infant strollers are permitted.
Prior to boarding, there is a designated unsupervised area available to park strollers at your own discretion.
Infant strollers brought on board are not permitted on the upper observation deck for safety reasons. Strollers cannot be left unattended, and all personal belongings should be supervised accordingly.
Is there a place to store my personal items?
No. We do not offer storage areas for personal items.
All personal items should never be left unattended during your visit.
At your discretion, infant strollers can be left at the designated unsupervised area prior to boarding.
Can I bring my pet?
Niagara City Cruises welcomes guide dogs or service animals on our premises. The service animal is required to always accompany the guest. The guest is responsible for their service animal while on our premises.
Service animals are defined as being visibly apparent that the customer requires the animal for reasons relating to a disability. When our crew members cannot easily identify that an animal is a service animal, they may ask for documentation from a regulated health professional that confirms the guest needs the service animal for reasons relating to their disability.
All other animals and pets are not permitted on Niagara City Cruises property.
Can I bring in outside food and beverage?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted at our attraction.
While enjoying a spectacular view of the Falls, guests can enjoy a selection of drinks and casual food at our onsite Riverside Patio.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely! We love seeing the amazing photos and videos are guests take. Be sure to use #InTheMist on social media to share your experience with us!
Please note that we only allow handheld cameras on site and do not permit any additional equipment with general admission.

Niagara City Cruises is in the heart of Niagara Falls’ tourist district. Our address is 5920 Niagara Parkway, Niagara Falls, Ontario.

- Niagara City Cruises does not have an on-site parking lot.
- However, there are several parking lot options provided by the Niagara Parks and surrounding businesses. A few parking options include:

The closest border crossing to our attraction is the Rainbow Bridge, which is a two (2) minute drive to Niagara City Cruises.

The closest airport to our attraction is the Niagara Falls International Airport in Niagara Falls, New York, U.S.A. This airport is approximately a 30-minute drive.
The Buffalo International Airport is in Buffalo, New York, U.S.A., and is approximately a 45-minute drive.
The John C. Munro International Airport is in Hamilton Ontario, Canada, which is a 50-minute drive.
The Lester B. Pearson Toronto International Airport is in Toronto Ontario, Canada which is a 1.5-hour drive.
Plan Your Visit
When is the best time to visit Niagara Falls, Canada?
The best time to visit Niagara Falls, Canada is between April and November when many of the major attractions are open, and the weather is best.
When are your peak times and hours?
Our peak times are on weekends, holidays, and throughout the summer season. Our peak hours are between 11:00 am – 6:00 pm.
If you are visiting in July and August, especially weekends/holidays, we do suggest coming before 11:00 am or after 6:00 pm for the best visitor experience.
What should I wear?
A complimentary recyclable poncho is provided to each guest upon boarding.
Light jackets, sweaters, rain jackets, running shoes, and hats are great when travelling to Niagara during the Spring and Fall.
During the summer months, a comfortable pair of walking shoes is highly recommended. Shorts, t-shirts, hats, sun visors, sunglasses, and light jackets for the evening are also encouraged as temperatures are generally 5-10 degrees cooler by the water. Don’t forget the sunscreen!

When looking for accommodations, the popular hotel areas close to Niagara City Cruises are the Fallsview District, Clifton Hill District, and Lundy’s Lane District.
Do you have food and drinks available?
Yes. Our guests can enjoy a variety of drinks and food options at our Riverside Patio. After your boat cruise, relax on our patio, while soaking in the spectacular view of Niagara Falls.
Please note that outside food and beverages are not permitted at our attraction.
Is there a location to purchase items?
Yes. We offer a selection of items, and souvenir keepsakes at the Retail area located in our Lower Landing.
Do you have a Lost and Found?
Yes. Our Lost and Found is located in our Administrative Building in our Lower Landing. If you have lost an item, please see one of our on-site crew members. For further assistance, please contact our customer service department.
