Finally, you'll sit down at a modern pizzeria dedicated to soccer legend Maradona to taste the quintessential Neapolitan pizza. You'll meet the owner, Andrea, and peek behind the counter to see the pizzaioli at work. As you savor each bite, you’ll understand why Naples is renowned as the birthplace of pizza and how this humble dish has become a symbol of Neapolitan pride.
