The Statue of Liberty – Ellis Island Foundation, Inc., founded in 1982, has been an instrumental partner to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Battery Park
Battery Park provides breath-taking waterfront views to the Statue of Liberty and to Ellis Island. The park is home to Statue City Cruises that provides daily ferry services to the monuments. Surrounded by luscious green scenery and city sculptures, Battery Park also offers many things to see and do including restaurants, workshops, and events for locals and visitors to attend.
Liberty State Park
Located in Jersey City, in New Jersey, the park offers a stunning backdrop of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Visitors can access the park by car or bus, or via Liberty Landing Ferry. Liberty State Park is the only location in New Jersey with a ferry service to Statue of Liberty and the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration.
