WHAT’S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT?
EVERYTHING! The answer is everything! When you travel you heart is open to meeting new and exciting people, places and experiences. When visitors travel to Niagara Falls most likely they will instantly fall in love or sometimes falls in deep like with the natural world wide wonder. On September 7th, 8th and 9th, Hornblower Niagara Cruises showcased the 5 ft. giant ball of pure LOVE. Between busy work, play and life schedules we sometimes forget to show others around us how much we love them. The love ball was the perfect solution to have our guests share their love for each other, travelling and most definitely a LOVE for Niagara Falls, Canada. The big love ball’s visit turned into what better than the love boat!
HAVING A BALL ABOARD THE #LOVEBOAT
Tony Bennett once sang, ‘I left my heart in San Francisco’ but after seeing the world famous Falls for the first time one might think you would leave your heart in Niagara Falls, Canada. We wanted to show our guests how much we love them for taking the time to visit and show/ tell us about their positive experience. The ball spent three days travelling aboard the upper and lower deck as well as our 360-degree unobstructed viewing platform.

THE GENIUS BEHIND THE BALL
Wendy Williams-Watt , a Vancouver Designer introduced the love ball in her studio window and has since gained popularity across Canada, United States and across the globe. When visiting her website www.bigloveball.com Wendy states, ‘ Our intention is to send Big Love Balls to places we’ve never been, events we cannot attend and to friends we’ve never met. We want to charm, disarm, honor and include the many people in the world who celebrate LOVE.’ The love ball is a social conscience, a love note.

MEETING NEW FACES
Each and every day our team meets new and exciting people from around the world. When the love ball made its debut aboard our boats and at our Hornblower Landing our guests instantly gravitated towards it. Guests from Belgium, Israel, Chicago, Illinois, Italy, India and Venezuela and even our friendly neighbors from Toronto, Ontario had a chance to get their picture taken with the famous love ball. The ball continued making its debut across the east coast and across the border to Hornblower Cruises & Events in New York City.
WE’RE KEEPING THE BALL ROLLING
Our love for boats, people, places, attractions and events won’t stop in Niagara Falls, Canada. The ball will continue its 54-day trek across the east coast to the big apple and then make its way to the sunny west coast in California visiting Hornblower ports in Los Angeles, San Diego, Newport Beach and San Francisco. The ball will also visit additional famous attractions including the Statue of Liberty and Alcatraz Island.
