Totally Thames

In September we celebrate the Thames during the Totally Thames Festival. This annual event hosts a diverse programme of creative projects, fun activities, walks, talks and more. Including the Big London River Quiz with Londonist editor-at-large Matt Brown on 27Th September. Until 30Th September.
Open House London

Always wanted to gain access to buildings that are usually closed to the public? Then, the capital-wide annual festival of architecture is the perfect one for you. Explore unique private homes, government buildings, historic sites and many others during Open House London. 16Th – 17Th September.
The Postal Museum

The Postal Museum shows the world’s first ‘social network’ through objects, artefacts and interactive galleries. One of the highlights of the museum is the immersive Mail Rail ride through the original tunnels under the museum.
BBC Good Food’s Feast at the Tower of London

See the famous moat of the Tower of London transformed into an incredible food and drink experience. With live demonstrations from UK’s top chefs, the city’s best street food vendors, pop-up restaurants, hands-on masterclasses, and live entertainment, this promises to be a great day out. 22nd – 24Th September.
Underbelly Festival

October

Restaurant Festival

October is the month to discover London’s top restaurants and chefs. During the London Restaurant Festival, you can tuck in great-value special menus, partake in wonderful chef-led events and a series of activities, such as restaurant tours and wine tasting. BFI London Film Festival

BFI London Film Festival is brilliant for movie fans. Discover new national and international films, spot movie stars on the red carpet, and join talks, workshops and screenings of feature films, shorts and documentaries at venues across the city. 4th – 15th October.
London Cocktail Week  2017

The cocktail party is on for one week in October, as delicious and colourful creations are served during London Cocktail Week. The festival includes a Cocktail Village in Old Spitalfields Market, and over 250 partnering bars all over London. 2nd – 8th October.
Museums at Night

With Halloween coming up, Museums at Night are great fun. Explore exhibitions after hours, join in Halloween-themed events and interactive workshops during Museums at Night. Participating museums are The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace, National Gallery, Museum of London and many more. 26th – 28th October.

Lord Mayor’s Fireworks Cruises

EFG London Jazz Festival

Getting into the Christmas Spirit
