There will be a small rowing regatta taking place on the river on Saturday 3rd May and that a short portion of the river may be inaccessible to our boats at points. Should the stretch of river be inaccessible for your cruise, please don’t worry, we will maintain the length of cruise and still run the product and maintain the facilities on-board as you would usually expect to receive. Our Crew will be able to provide further information on the day and answer any questions should you have them!

Climb aboard one of our self-drive motor boats, taking up to four of your fellow Viking warriors with you and navigate the same river that brought the mighty Norsemen to York.

Don't worry if it is your first time! We'll give you full instructions and provide life jackets for you all. You'll have up to an hour to explore the river and make some Instagram-worthy memories.

Pre-booking is recommended, but we always save a few boats for those Vikings who like to live on the edge and walk up!
