Bring your favorite furry friend aboard for an outing on the water with Dogs on Deck Sightseeing Cruise presented by Petco! Enjoy a two-hour cruise with San Francisco’s best views and activities for you and your pup. Show off your dog’s favorite tricks or cutest costume! Your dog can peruse the doggie treat buffet, with a dog relief area available on the sun deck. Human snacks and drinks are available to purchase from the bar. There will be a dog relief area on the sun deck. We will be collecting bath towels and fleece throw blankets, large or XL Kong rubber toys, and treats for dogs and cats. Even better, a portion of the proceeds benefits dogs in need at Friends of Oakland Animal Services.

During this cruise, we will also be collecting the following items for Friends of Oakland Animal Services:

Dog Day on the Bay Policies:

  • One dog per adult is welcome. The event is not open to dogs under six months of age.
  • All dogs must be on a leash at all times. No retractable leashes are allowed.
  • Owners must clean up after their dogs.
  • No dogs in heat are allowed.
  • The cruise is not recommended for dogs that are sensitive to movement or get motion sickness.
  • Owners are responsible for their dog onboard. This event is not appropriate for dogs that are unpredictable in crowds or dislike strangers or other dogs.
  • This event is for dogs and people only. Please do not bring other pets.
  • Dogs must wear a current rabies tag to board and I.D. tags are mandatory.

City Cruises has the right to refuse any dog or pet owner entry to this cruise if they do not meet the standard guidelines.

Board: 3:00pm | Cruise: 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Please allow plenty of additional time for city traffic, parking, and check-in at the dock.  

Meet us at Pier 3, on the Embarcadero at Washington Street. Your cruise will board at the SOUTH GATE (on the right-hand side of the Pier when facing the water), near the white overhang.

Paid public parking is available at Pier 3 for a discounted rate to City Cruises' guests (based on availability). Additional public lots nearby.

Approximately a 10-minute walk from the Embarcadero BART station.
