Hornblower Sacramento is offering Spooky Halloween River Cruises on Saturday and Sunday evenings in October, plus Halloween night, as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating for families.
All pirates, princesses, superheroes and witches are welcome to celebrate Halloween up to 7 more times this month in Old Sacramento. Families can cruise the Sacramento River while reveling in Halloween-themed music and decorations. There will be plenty of playful spookiness for children of all ages, from themed coloring sheets to party favors.
And Hornblower hasn’t forgotten the fun for parents either. Parents can sit back and relax, enjoy the sunset and sip on wine or beer, while their children enjoy their Halloween fun nearby.
Don’t forget your camera! Hornblower is hosting an onboard costume contest. Take pictures of your children decked out in all their Halloween finery and upload them to our Facebook page. Each weekend, a winning photo for the most creative family will be selected to win a family-four pack of tickets for our December Santa River Cruises. The winner from the first weekend of cruises was Kara Synhorst, whose daughter was dressed as Betsy Ross, in amazing patriotic fashion!
