Our Marina del Rey Harbor cruise kicked off on Saturday, June 18th on the 80 ft. Hornblower Marina. With Captain Vic at the helm, paddle boarders and kayakers watched us cruise the main channel for the first of three 45-minute tours, which will be departing every Saturday and Sunday from Fisherman’s Village until September 5th.
Hornblower crew members Liola and Kelly were serving beverages and snacks on the main deck while 1st officer Gary narrated the tour as guests enjoyed the sights and sounds of the busy marina.
It’s the perfect sightseeing tour for tourists and locals alike to take in both the beauty and history of America’s largest man-made small craft harbor. And nearby Bellona Creek with its 9 miles of wetlands means there’s always an abundance of feathered wildlife to see, from herons and egrets to pelicans and ospreys.
The marina has been featured in numerous movies and TV shows over the years and is home to countless sea lions and celebrities alike. Bring your camera, you’ll be shooting a lot more than just selfies!
Catch a cruise this weekend: Every Saturday and Sunday at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm now through Labor Day.
