How important is the food to our Jazzy Champagne Brunch Cruise? Very important. Sometimes the drama behind ensuring we have plenty of the best food around aboard our brunch cruise is enough to warrant a TV show… and that’s just what happened.
The Food Network’s, Food Factory, Night Shift followed a day in the life of our wonderful bakery suppliers… or should we say, a night in the life?
Every week Homestyle Desserts Bakery dutifully supplies Hornblower with their delicious range of baked goods for the Jazzy Champagne Brunch Cruise — it’s an important part of the cruise… you’ve got the jazz, you’ve got the cruise and sights, you have to have the brunch!
It’s a lot of responsibility and their carrot cake is a favorite among regulars, and while it’s always smooth sailing aboard a Hornblower cruise, there can be some bumps in the road before our delicious supplies reach our yachts.
As always, everything worked out in the end; the carrot cakes were delivered just in time and everyone enjoyed a beautiful sunny day on the water, soaking in sights such as the Statue of Liberty, taking in the NYC skyline, dining on a bountiful brunch buffet and relaxing to our live jazz band.
Take a sneak peek at the episode below. You can check it out when it premieres in the US on the FYI network Thursday March 17th.
Of course, if you want to try the delicious carrot cakes in question, book your Sunday Jazz Brunch Cruise today!
