Our friends over at TimeOut New York were kind enough to put together a comprehensive list of the top events this spring in NYC. From comedy shows, to concerts, natural wonders, film festivals and more, here are some event ideas we love from this spring’s top events…

Hold on to Your Butts
Peoples Improv Theater; Running until March 30
What we love: This scene-for-scene comedic recreation of the eternal classic, Jurassic Park, will leave you wondering why you don’t integrate more improv performances into your events. But don’t worry, this version won’t give you nightmares about getting eaten by a T-Rex while sitting on the toilet.

Björk
Multiple Venues; Running March 15 – April 1
What we love: Need to conjure up some Icelandic-themed décor for an upcoming event? You’re in luck. Art-pop sensation Björk kicks off a six show stint starting at Carnegie Hall that you won’t want to miss.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
5th Avenue, Manhattan ; March 17
What we love: Ok, so maybe the St. Patrick’s Day parade doesn’t get support from Mayor de Blasio, but it’s still a cultural experience that every New Yorker needs to take part in at least once. Hornblower is even offering two St. Patrick’s Day cruises to on Saturday, March 14 to kick off the festivities.

Macy’s Flower Show
Macy’s Herald Square; Running March 22 – April 4
What we love: Offering free workshops on terrarium making and floral design, the Macy’s Flower Show is the perfect opportunity for décor aficionados to hone their floral skills.

Meredith Monk
Carnegie Hall; Running March 20 – May 2
What we love: Before Björk, there was Meredith Monk. Pioneering a mysterious vocal style, Meredith employs classic DJ and jazz rhythms to produce a genre all her own. Stop by Carnegie hall and find out how to widen your events’ entertainment selection.

Neil Diamond
Barclay’s Center; March 26
What we love: Embrace your inner “Sweet Caroline” with Neil Diamond at the Barclay’s Center later this month and add some soul to your repertoire.

Cherry Blossom Season at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden
Brooklyn Botanic Garden; Running April 1 – 26
What we love: Here in New York, we don’t have many opportunities to sit back and appreciate the natural beauty around us. The Cherry Blossoms in bloom at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in April offer an exceptionally exquisite backdrop for your next event.

New York Spring Spectacular
Radio City Music Hall; Running March 26 – May 3
What we love: Many of us have clients who have an unhealthy obsession with the Rockettes. Well, this spring Spectacular is a perfect chance to cater to that obsession at Radio City Music Hall.

Tribeca Film Festival
Tribeca Film Forum; Running April 15 – 26
What we love: There’s no film lineup just yet, but Robert De Niro is the event host, and that’s enough for us. Join nearly half a million attendees and view up to 100 films, from low budget indies to global blockbusters.

Hamlet with Peter Sarsgaard
Classic Stage Company; Running March 27 – May 9
What we love: To be or not to be. That is the question. Well, to answer that question….yes, this should be an epic performance of Shakepeare’s dark drama. Adding a little theater to your event agenda may take things up a notch–just skip the murder scenes.
