On September 18th Hornblower Cruises & Events of San Francisco welcomed over 60 local concierges from hotels such as Cova Hotel, Tuscan Inn, Ritz Carlton, Inn at the Presidio, Hotel Nikko and more!
Guests boarded the California Hornblower, Hornblower’s Flagship Yacht, and were welcomed by the Public Cruise team with cool bubbly Champagne.
The Clerestory Deck Aft was set with a 20 person kings table plus additional window seats to take in the breathtaking views. Concierges boarded and hugged one another in this joyous occasion of being all together on a yacht. One concierge was thankful to see what the cruise was like and feels much more confident in referring guests after having such a great time.
The event started at 7 pm. Guests took their seats and started the evening with a delicious Spinach Salad with tatsoi, baby spinach, radicchio, Asian pears, roasted beets and goat pecorino cheese topped with yuzu vinaigrette.
As we cruised, we went past Pier 39 and we were able to see the California Sea Lions.
Then we cruised past Ghirardelli Square.
Then we proceeded through the bay and headed towards the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was quite cloudy but once we were under the Golden Gate Bridge you could see the outline of the road and the towers. The fog horns were loud and were reciprocated by the loud horns on the California Hornblower, I guess we know where Hornblower Cruises & Events got its name.
After taking in the sights of the Golden Gate we were headed to Alcatraz.
Guests then danced the night away to the Hornblower Band and DJ.
Congratulations to our Fleet Week Cruise winners Jessica Lane, Teri Ching, Hugo Vides & Eduardo Capurro!
We look forward to seeing you aboard Fleet Week Weekend!
Thank you for everyone that attended. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to welcoming you and your guests on board in the near future.
