Duration of 2.50 hours

Overview

Join us, in partnership with the New England Aquarium, for the New England Aquarium Ecoventure Cruise. Part wildlife observation opportunity and part marine life and ocean conservation educational experience, Ecoventure is a captivating new springtime cruise that dives into Boston Harbor’s past and present and how it is tied to the Massachusetts Bay ecosystem.

See the marine animals, shorebirds, and seabirds that live off Boston’s coast in spring. New England Aquarium naturalists will serve as your guides as you discover what these animals eat, where they live, and their places in the Massachusetts Bay ecosystem. Learn about conservation success stories like the population rebound of the once nearly extinct Atlantic harbor seal and the transformational clean-up of Boston Harbor. Become ambassadors to help us protect our blue planet while enjoying a memorable day on the water. Don't forget to bring your binoculars!

The New England Aquarium Ecoventure safeguards ocean animals and birds by traveling at slow speeds, while promoting a greater understanding of, and appreciation for, nature and Boston’s local culture.

The New England Aquarium is a non-profit conservation organization that has protected and cared for our ocean and marine animals for more than 50 years. Through continuous learning, we provide scientific solutions and influence policies that create measurable change to help combat threats the ocean faces. NEAq inspires action through discovery and helps create engaged, resilient communities.

BHCC is proud to participate in the Passenger Vessel Association Waters Best Green Practices Program.
