Cody Bryant and Haley Wolosten initially met on separate family vacations in Hawaii. Little did they know that chance meeting would change their lives forever.

While getting to know each other, both discovered they had much in common, including living relatively close to each other back home in Hermosa Beach, California. And, like most couples these days, they started corresponding back and forth through text messages.

But it seems as soon as it began, it soon faded. Haley found herself ghosted by the man she just met. What she didn’t know, was Cody had a serious accident while on holiday in Spain. His moped accident left him in a coma for five days, with a shattered femur, traumatic brain injury, and loss of recent memories…including meeting Haley.

Falling in Love the Second Time Around

Luckily, Haley found out about Cody’s accident through a GoFundMe page. She was able to reconnect and they would fall in love all over again! TODAY  hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush recently caught up with the couple and Haley had this to say about their journey, “…starting in such a tumultuous and scary situation made us appreciate the little things a lot more, it’s the small moments, it’s the big moments and everything in between, too.”

Cody is a huge advocate for traumatic brain injury, and documents both his recovery and their relationship through his popular TikTok account. His advice for those going through a similar situation? “Be patient, keep working hard, ’cause you can do a lot more than you would ever think.”

City Cruises’ Celebrates Cody & Haley’s Love Story

To celebrate their love story, City Cruises partnered with The Today Show by gifting Cody and Haley a date night Premier Dinner Cruise in beautiful Marina del Rey. The couple enjoyed a two-and-a-half-hour cruise featuring a chef-prepared plated dinner, DJ entertainment, luscious desserts, and spectacular views of Southern California’s beautiful beaches.
