It’s a unique educational and entertainment concept where children aged 4 to 14 can experience real-life role-playing activities in various professions. The miniature city features a range of establishments such as a hospital, fire station, bank, TV studio, supermarket, and many more. Kids can try out different jobs, earn KidZos (the currency of KidZania), and learn about teamwork, independence, and financial literacy in a safe and immersive environment. It’s a popular destination for families looking for an engaging and educational day out in London.

London Transport Museum

The London Transport Museum based in Covent Garden is the home for anything related to the rich heritage of London’s transport. The Museum is inviting families to go on a Green Journey this summer. Until 1 September, discover their brand-new, interactive installation exploring global warming and its effects on London, some of the available solutions to help tackle it – from Transport for London’s hydrogen buses to the active travel choices we can all make to make our journeys greener – as well as new green jobs and skills needed to solve these problems.

Families can also join in hands-on, fun workshops, where they can meet real-life innovators and create their climate change superhero or create Family Action Cards to get inspired to take action to make London a greener city. All workshops are drop-in and free with museum admission, and kids go free!

It is Europe’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually! Come visit the London Eye and witness the views of London at a great height!

The London Eye was originally constructed to mark the turn of the millennium in 2000. Designed by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield, it was intended to be a temporary installation, but its popularity ensured its permanent status. Standing at a height of 135 meters (443 feet), it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world when it was erected.

The Eye consists of 32 sealed and air-conditioned passenger capsules, representing each of the London boroughs. Each capsule can hold up to 25 people, providing panoramic views of the cityscape during the 30-minute rotation. On a clear day, you can see landmarks like Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the Shard from the top.
