9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:
Grey Whale
Dolphins
We saw a southbound gray whale near the Mexico border. We stayed with him for 5 or 6 breathing cycles and got a fluke on his last dive! We also ran into a pod of common dolphins twice. There were approximately one hundred dolphins. It was a beautiful day!!

9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:
2 Adult/1 Juvenille Fin Whales
150 Common Dolphins
Departing San Diego harbor on a clear, calm morning Capt. Rick turned West to search for marine life. About five miles off-shore we encountered three Fin Whales – 2 adults and 1 juvenile. We observed whale behaviors for over an hour and then moved on to watch the antics of about 150 Common Dolphins before returning to port. Another perfect day on the water.
