9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:
Gray Whales
We saw about a dozen bottlenose dolphins as we were leaving the bay in the morning. They were bow-riding our ship and a nearby navy ship also. We then found 2 solitary gray whales, one headed south quickly towards Mexico, and another farther north closer to Point Loma.
