Air Force Veteran, Sylvia Longmire turned her love of traveling and writing into a profession. After being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005, Sylvia didn’t let her MS define or her wheelchair confine her. She has traveled to 51 countries, 43 of those as a wheelchair user and 34 of those countries by herself! Today, Sylvia writes for her award-winning travel blog, ‘Spin the Globe‘ and her work has been featured in the New York Times, Lonely Planet, and Matador Travel Network to name a few. Sylvia visited Niagara Falls, Canada, and Hornblower Niagara Cruises to experience the world-famous waterfalls from aboard Hornblower’s wheelchair accessible boat.
