Love is celebrated every day aboard a Hornblower boat whether it’s celebrating a wedding, toasting to an engagement, or just simply having with your closest friends. Love transcends borders and boundries, languages and cultures. However you look it welcoming the 5 ft. love ball from Vancouver, Canada was a BIG occasion for the six ports.
The Love Ball first made its debut on September 7, 2015 at Hornblower Cruises & Events in San Diego where the ball spent one day with the west coast team cruising the sparkling blue open waters.
After soaking up the California sun the Love Ball made its way to Canada to tour one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Niagara Falls. See our Flickr album.
On September 9th, the Hornblower Niagara Cruises team kissed the ball goodbye before it made it’s way back to the west coast to Hornblower Cruises & Events in Los Angeles. It was here that the ball was shown a lot of love from ateended of the ‘Daybreak Event.’ Wondering what ‘DayBreak is?’ This dance party is a wake up call before dawn where hundreds of lively spirits put their dancing shoes on and party like it’s 11pm, only its 7 AM. The only thing that keeps these ateendees going strong is the many cups of coffee because the event is 0% alcohol. With flashing lights and the smells of freshly brewed java these dancers even included on board yoga. Between posing with the giant love ball and hitting the dance floor really, what is not to love about this event!
They say it’s impossible to be in two places at once but for the love ball this wasn’t the case. While the ball was feeling the love from yoga professionals and face painted dance enthusiasts another Love Ball rolled aboard Hornblower Cruises & Event in New York just in time for the #5borough2015 Instagram meet. This event welcomed Instagrammers from New York’s five boroughs to come together make new friends and experience the city aboard Hornblower New York. See how these instagrammers captured amazing photos of #NewYorkCity. See the article from www.NewYork.com See the video highlight.
The ball said goodbye to Lady Liberty and the Big Apple and arrived for a second time in San Diego, California followed by a visit to Hornblower Cruises & Events in Newport Beach.
The ball was a great hit aboard all Hornblower boats as it gave guests and staff something unique and of course amazing to talk about.
